We can’t believe that another school year has flown by so quickly. The time has come once again to find the next amazing group of parents to help our PTO continue going strong. These members are an important part of our PTO's success. Without these positions the PTO could not continue to provide all the wonderful activities for our students and families throughout the school year.  

The following positions are up for Re-Election or Replacement:

Co-Presidents**: 2 Positions OPEN: (1) 2 Year Term, (1) 1 Year Replacement Term
Preside over monthly PTO and executive board meetings. Coordinate PTO Calendar. Help to coordinate large school fundraising events and activities. Appoint all committee chairs. Make arrangements for facility usages with Green Brook BOE. Coordinate activities of officers and committees to make sure PTO objectives are met. Cosign or verbally approve all contracts with the appropriate committee person and must sign all necessary paperwork. Acts a liaison between the administration and the PTO members. APPLY HERE

Co-Treasurer**: 1 position OPEN!
The treasurers have charge of all funds for the organization, keep all books and manage all accounts. Keep track and have custody of all financial records (including bank statements, canceled checks, disbursement forms, invoices, receipts, and budgets). Prepare and present financial reports at meetings of the PTO. APPLY HERE

Recording Secretary:  1 position OPEN!
Recording Secretary shall take Minutes at all meetings, present minutes from prior meetings, and send a copy of minutes in a timely fashion to Co-Presidents and VP of Communications for publication on the PTO website or PTO Bulletin Boards. APPLY HERE|

Vice President of Fundraising:  1 position OPEN!   
Assist in obtaining sponsorship for GBPTO events, collection of donations for various events including but not limited to Teacher/StaffAppreciation, Volleyball Tournaments and Fun Runs. Coordinate and promote family dine & donate nights hosted by local restaurants. APPLY HERE

If you are interested and not a PTO member there is still time to sign-up.   Know someone that might be a great fit for one of these positions? Maybe they need your encouragement, please reach out to them, and encourage them to run! Voting will be held at our PTO meeting on April 8th in the GBMS Media Room. All paid PTO members are eligible to vote. Make YOUR voice count!!!

Please keep in mind that if a board position is not right for you there are A LOT of other ways you can be a part of our PTO. We are currently looking to fill several Committee Positions for the 2025-26 school year, and we are always in need of great volunteers.
